Project Manager at Danone, Specification Management R&D Baby Division (Schiphol)

Business processes / business support and project management:

- Responsible for maintaining and safeguarding corporate business process for securing the purchasing and call off of raw and packaging materials (including data migrations and system implementations)

- Defined and implemented a new concept for centralised business support for corporate PLM System, including conducting a survey for +350 business user

- Representing and safeguarding the business and work processes for the department in relation to projects, including translating business needs and requirements into systems (and the other way around)

- Involved in defining, implementing and maintaining business and work processes related to the department activities and responsibilities

- Identified and resolved issues that impacted (or could have impacted) the business or work processes, as well as supported issues raised by the business

- Prepared and supported the business for managing data migrations, transitions period and post go-live, in relation to implementation of new corporate systems (including PLM)

- Contributed to the project for building the department vision for 2015 (started in 2012), including advising and supporting team members on how to approach this

- Conducted major survey as part of the project for building the department vision for 2015



Master data / data migration projects and systems selection:

- Took part in the selecting process for a new corporate PLM tool

- Implemented corporate PLM tool twice (second time as part of a merge)

- Defined and implemented a Master Data core model for Raw / Packaging Materials and Semi-finished Products (Master Data Standard)

- Participated in activities related to maintenance and development of documents in order to support correct creation of Master Data, as well as procedures to ensure the highest level of data integrity

- Involved in Data Management activities, including data assessments and strategies for cleansing and data conversion

- Defined data migration requirements together with the business and planned activities to ensure data readiness, as well as high quality of data transferred

- Identified and / or resolved issues that could impact the business processes and data integrity, as well as supported issues raised by the business

Personal contribution: Originator and initiator of a concept for centralised business support for corporate Specification Management Tool.

Competencies developed: Further improved and developed my project management / communications skills, as well developed advanced time and self management skills. Gained extensive knowledge of data migration processes and extraction, as well as data validation and loading.
