Through 20 years I apply innovative thinking across different business milieu and able of bringing people together. Being originally a petroleum geologist followed up by deep-sea research/ocean sciences and lately performing on the industrial arenas of Maritime, Deep Sea Mining and Oil/Gas, I can consider myself as imaginative ideas developer and at the same time a resourceful problem solver. I am creative, curious, and open-minded focusing on bigger picture and have an ability to look at problems differently, to provide innovative solutions and create a shared vision.

I have broad experience in academia and industry and use to work in a demanding and challenging multicultural environment often helping to identify and develop new business opportunities within and outside the standard service portfolio. Besides, my academic background is accompanied with business-school training in Erasmus School of Business. The later additionally provides capability of balancing creative insight with pragmatic industry understanding and technical knowledge with scientific approach and analysis.

Project: Marine section (Black Sea) of the South Stream Gas Pipeline – feasibility study for the construction of the pipeline and the implementation stages (Peter Gas Ltd, Gasprom, Lemna Ecoinvest, institute of Oceanology (Bulgaria), D’Appolonia (Italy)) – shallow gas and gas hydrates, petroleum systems, basin analyses and evaluation of hydrocarbon migration trends, hydrocarbon gas analysis, ecological and geotechnical risk assessment, material resistance. Project: Domino - the first deepwater exploration (ca. 2 km water depth) in the Romanian sector of the Black Sea – biogeochemical and geoengineering study. Domino pre-feed geochemical assessment pipeline route to shore - (ExxonMobil, Fugro UK). Offshore survey design with approximate cost estimations (technical management and human aspects) – environmental risk assessment, multidisciplinary tactic (petroleum geology, geophysics, (bio)geochemistry, underwater survey, short- and long-term monitoring) for accurate prognoses before planned underwater installations (loads, material selection, corrosion, etc).
